The Puppet Co. is joining with the Puppet Pandemic for its 7th annual Playhouse Puppetry Slam!  For one evening only, September 29, 2012, the slam will provide puppetry for more mature audiences with content ranging from the raunchy and risqué to tear jerking.   Joining the fun is JFQ Jazz Quartet, who provides the evenings live music.

Puppet Pandemic is an organization that fundraises for National Puppetry Conference Alumni Scholarships to attend the National Puppetry Conference, and for this Playhouse Puppetry Slam!  A big part of the puppetry slam fundraising is the silent auction that is online now.  The auction items range from Broadway show tickets and production posters to handmade puppets.

The Playhouse Puppetry Slam! is September 29, 2012, with two shows, 7:00pm and 9:00pm, at the Puppet Co. Playhouse at Glen Echo, 7300 MacArthur Blvd., Glen Echo, MD  20812.  Ticket prices are $15.  Pre-purchasing tickets is highly recommended due to limited seating and previously sold out shows.

Advisory:  13-16 year olds must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, 12 year olds and under are not admitted.
